The deadline to return an Absentee Ballot Application to the Fayette County Elections office was, April 1, 2022.

PRIMARY ELECTION DAY: Tuesday, May 24, 2022  

• The earliest day for a registrar to mail an absentee ballot out was: April 5, 2022  
• Initial Mailout of Absentee Ballots was:  April 25, 2022
• Voter Registration Deadline was: April 25, 2022   
• Early voting for the Primary:  Begins Monday, May 2, 2022  
• Absentee Ballot Application Deadline: May 13, 2022  
• Last day of Early Voting and Access to the Absentee Ballot Drop Boxes: May 20, 2022. 

COME AND GET YOUR CANDIDATE YARD SIGNS:

The FCRP headquarters will be open starting on Wednesday, May 4, Thursday, May 5 and Friday May 6 from 9am-12n. Every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday thereafter headquarters will be open from 9am-12n. On May 24, Election Day, the headquarters will be open from 8:30am -7pm. Contact: 770-716-1545.

ADVANCED IN-PERSON VOTING

Fayette County Elections and Voter Registration, along with the Commissioners would like to remind the citizens of Fayette County that voting Advance/In Person is the same as voting absentee. 

Your voting record will reflect “Absentee Ballot” if you choose to vote early. If you choose to vote on Election Day at your polling location, your voting history will be notated with the word “Regular.”

SATURDAY VOTING MAY 7, 2022 (9:00 - 5:00)  

MAY 9-13, 2022 (9:00 - 5:00)
