Where I STAND & What I SUPPORT in My 2025 Campaign
- Support 54/74 Traffic Improvement Plan for a SR54 Overpass with both GDOT and County/Municipal Consortium.
- Finalize a good traffic flow and traffic light sequence on SR54 west side corridor with GDOT.
- Build a cart path/walking bridge over SR54 for connecting McIntosh and Booth schools to protect our children.
- Further reduce millage property tax rate to offset raising valuations by a full rollback -or- give homeowners a raise in their Homestead Exemption.
- Reduce 2026 cash reserve fund from the budgeted ~59% to a 35-45% range, over time, to fund future projects.
- Allow expanded 5 minute time limits (or no limits) for our citizens to speak at city council meetings.
- Update Ordinance 1218 to add allow items to be added to council agenda by council members and PTC citizens.
- Introduce an Invocation/Prayer on all City Council meeting agendas.
- Update our 2022 Comprehensive Plan and complete our 2026 Comprehensive Plan with 3rd party professionals.
- Develop an ordinance and/or resolution restricting Urbanization and Mixed-use zoning in Peachtree City.
- Build Drake Field bathrooms as soon as possible.
- Remodel former Community Garden area to a new Veterans Memorial Park.
- Update the Kedron Fieldhouse Skating Rink for year-round hockey and other events for all our citizens.
- Construct a permanent pool cover structure for Kedron Pool.
- Reinstate paper ballots for all Peachtree City municipal elections.
- Revise and update our burn ban ordinance to exclude properties 3 acres or larger.
- Adopt an ordinance to ban invasive species plants in Peachtree City.
- Review and potentially update the Recreation Master Plan in 2026.
- Develop a Strategic Plan and a Comprehensive 25 year vision for long term future prosperity of Peachtree City.
- Continue to support our 1st responders: Police, Fire, EMS, and Public Works.
- Protect our Founding Father’s Village Concept as well as our greenspaces and nature areas throughout our city.
