The 5000 Year Leap that occurred because of the American Revolution has changed the world. The book, The 5000 Year Leap (A Miracle That Changed the World, Principles of Freedom 101,  by W. Cleon Skousen, explains the 28 Principles of Freedom our Founding Fathers said must be understood and perpetuated by every people who desire peace, prosperity, and freedom. Tuesday, january 27, 2026, at 6:30 PM

Speaker: Pvt. James Chiles, Jr.

Topic: American Freedom for 250 years

Mr. Chiles, Jr. will tell us about his family with details about how his father (James Chiles, Sr.) was a farmer who was persecuted for his Christian faith.  This persecution included fines, beatings, jail time, etc.  Chiles, Sr. moved his family away from the land of his birth for the safety of his wife and children.  Our speaker, Chiles, Jr., enlisted in the U. S. Army as soon as he was old enough.  While he was proudly serving in the Army, he saw active combat which he will describe to us in part.  Afterwards, Chiles, Jr. became a farmer like his father.

Patrick Henry: "It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation [of America] was founded not by religionists, but by God's Children, not by religions, but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  For this very reason peoples of other faiths have been afforded asylum, prosperity, and freedom of worship here."

General George Washington, First Orders to the Continental Army on July 4, 1775 near Boston: "The General most earnestly requires, and expects, a due observance of those articles of war, established for the Government of the army, which forbid profane cursing, swearing & drunkenness; And in like manner requires and expects, of all Officers, and Soldiers, not engaged on actual duty, a punctual attendance on divine service, to implore the blessings of heaven upon the means used for our safety and defence."

Meet the Republican Candidates for Fayette County Municipal Elections

The conservative Republican candidates who are running for mayor and city council seats in November have been invited to share their ideas and beliefs to  win your support.  All Fayette Republicans are invited.

The Platform of the Georgia Republican Party, Preamble:

We, the Georgia Republican Party, do affirm our belief in God, and hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men and women are created in the image of God and that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. Throughout the world, people dare to dream of freedom and opportunity. The Georgia Republican Party unequivocally defends that dream. We strive to preserve the liberties given to us by God, implemented by our Founding Fathers, embodied in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, and defended by our elected leaders and civil magistrates for ourselves and our posterity. We recognize that the traditional family is the strength of our nation. It is our solemn duty to protect innocent life and develop responsible citizens. We understand that our economic success depends upon free-market principles. If we fail to maintain our borders, sovereignty, and national identity, we risk losing the freedom to live these ideals. Etc.
Joseph.

Why would ordinary farmers and store keepers take up arms against their own country and found a new one? The tyrant George III had discriminated against our religious freedoms, levied excessive taxes, stolen our private property, restricted local trade and industry, deprived us of legal due process, hired Indians and Germans to murder our women and children, and sent military forces to seize our guns and ammunition. The first law of nature requires the self defence of our lives and the lives of our families. This War between The People and Government made it clear that to reject the twin evils of Tyranny and Democracy, and thus build a Wall of Separation Between Religious Freedom and State Atheism, Between Liberty and Slavery, Between Happiness and Despotism, we had to pursue Biblical Virtue and a Constitutional Republican Form of government. This Wall of Separation was first defined by Thomas Jefferson as: “We hold these truths to be sacred & undeniable, that all men are created equal & independent, that from that equal creation they derive rights inherent & inalienable, among which are the preservation of life, & liberty, & the pursuit of happiness.”  And later this Wall of Separation was defined by the U. S. Bill of Rights (see also: Article IV, Section 4 in the U. S. Constitution). Note: Aristotle defined “Happiness” in his Nicomachean Ethics as: “an activity of the soul in conformity with excellence and virtue.”

Who is a person?  How can we nurture young families?

Representatives from Georgia Right to Life (GRTL) and Fayette Pregnancy Resource Center (FPRC) will help us to address these and other questions.

The Georgia Republican Party believes in God and that all men and women are created in the image of God.  The traditional family is the strength of the nation and it is our solemn duty to protect innocent life.  We believe in the right to life from conception, beginning at fertilization, to natural death.  Unfortunately, many other political parties promote aborting, transgendering, and sex trafficking children; as well as, breaking apart the traditional family.  Fortunately, there are many people who know that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, that Jesus wants all of us to live an abundant life now and for eternity, that all human beings are persons, and that the child, mother, and father of young families need good neighbors to nurture them.

Another question:  What can we do to be good neighbors? Check out the websites below.

Don't Miss this Viewing of THE SHERIFF (Noncompliant 2)

A Film by the Liberty First Society

This is a timely story of Faith, Courage, and Commitment.  The film gives some historical background to the office of the Sheriff and gives two modern case studies for greater understanding.  It highlights the dangers of tyrannical government and the Sheriff's role as the defender of the rights of the people.

The office of Sheriff began in ancient England.  In A.D. c. 450, Hengist and Horsa introduced Common Law into England.  This law was based on Bible paraphrases (see Deuteronomy 1:9-18, link below).  England was divided into seven Kingdoms with Kings elected by the people.  These Kingdoms were divided into Shires (Counties) and further divided into Hundreds (Precincts).  Alfred the Great (849 - 899) introduced the office of Shire Reeve (Sheriff) to enforce English Common Law over the Danelaw of the invading Vikings in each Shire.  In 1066, William the Conqueror became the sole ruler of England and introduced Norman Law, but he kept some of England's traditions.  John Lackland became the evil ruler of England, which included killing his brother King Richard the Lionhearted and using Sheriffs as tools of tyranny.  John's evil rule led to a revolt and the 1215 Magna Carta.  The Magna Carta put the King under the Law, and also gave us: Trial by Jury, Oath of Office, etc.  The Sheriff is specifically mentioned in the Preamble and in Articles: 4, 24, 26, 30, 45, 48, and is alluded to in Article 61.  Sheriffs are to protect the People, seek fairness, and enforce the Law.

Get to Know the Great C. S. Lewis - Join Us to Watch "The Most Reluctant Convert"

Many of you have read C. S. Lewis' books: "Mere Christianity," "The Screwtape Letters," "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" (book 2 of the "Chronicles of Narnia"), and/or others; but what do you know about C. S. Lewis himself?  The film "The Most Reluctant Convert" by the Fellowship for Performing Arts tells the untold story of C. S. Lewis.  The film presents Lewis' own Words from his autobiography "Surprised by Joy."  It is filmed on location at Lewis' boyhood home in Dublin, Ireland, at the house of his tutor in Sussex, England, at Oxford University, at his favorite pub, at his home at Oxford, and at Lewis' church.  As C. S. Lewis tells his own story where each event happened and as he leads you from one world to another in Narnian style, you will meet some interesting people like: his father, the Great Knock, J. R. R. Tolkien ("The Lord of the Rings"), immortals, and even God ("Holy Bible").  Maybe you will be surprised by joy, too.  The film is 74 minutes and appropriate for children over 13.
