Anyone voting by absentee ballot, it is recommended to mail it in EARLY to ensure it is received in our local elections office by Nov. 3 deadline. Check to see if the absentee ballot has been received by visiting the "My Voter Page" site.
POLL WORKERS NEEDED
This is a critical time in our nation's history. Georgia is expecting one of the highest voter turn outs for a presidential election in many years. The Fayette Election office is recruiting paid poll workers for early voting and election day. Click here to apply.
Ballot integrity is top priority. On election day, hundreds of POLL WATCHERS are needed throughout our state. During the opening of absentee ballots, Volunteers are needed to serve on the VOTER INTEGRITY PANEL.
Training will be provided by the GA GOP.
This November 3rd, conservatives of the 13th Congressional District have a choice on the ballot for our U.S. Congress Representative. GFRWC member and Republican, Becky Hites, is challenging the long-term Democrat, David Scott, and we believe that the high voter turn out predicted for this election will give the best opportunity to "take back the House” with majority Republican control. You can help make that happen when you vote for Becky Hites to represent the 13th Congressional District.
Learn more about Becky Hites at BeckyHitesForCongress.com.
Help us reach out to the hard core Republican women voters in the 13th Congressional District during this election season. While the Democrats are a large segment of the voters in North Fayette, the GFRWC has a list of almost 1500 Republican women voters who live in this area of our county. We will be calling these conservative women to provide election information and will ask them to join our GFRWC! Can you make a few phone calls? Contact Angela Bean, 770-401-4397, email@example.com.

The Greater Fayette Republican Women’s Club (GFRWC) is organized as one of the many clubs under The Georgia Federation of Republican Women’s Club (GFRW). The GFRW has a sixty-three year history of devotion to making a difference as a shining light in the Republican Party. The camaraderie and friendships formed among members over the years while working together in the spirit of voluntary service have forged bonds that have sustained us as a committed, long lasting organization. We are all deeply rooted as a sparkling example of determination, dedicated to fostering Republican principles, and educating the electorate.
The GFRWC's long-standing goals of education, training, participation in government, electing Republicans, and encouraging Republican women to run for office has helped create a powerful organization. Annual member dues include membership in the GFRW and the National Federation of Republican Women.

This is an important year as we turn our focus on the elections of 2020.
At our January meeting the members of the GFRWC all agreed we would work with the Fayette County Republicn Party (FCRP) to assist with the work of the many events, meetings, conventions, candidate campaigning, etc. that is planned for 2020.
How We are Helping....
Event Meal Prep and Decorating
Monthly breakfast meetings. Volunteers are needed for breakfast set up, meal prep, serving, and clean up. Not only do our meeting attendees enjoy this fantastic breakfast, it is also a valuable fund raiser for our Republican party efforts. Our monthly breakfast meetings are the first Saturday of each month.
Special Events. Throughout the year the FCRP plans fun events such as the annual Christmas party, Valentine's Dinner, Bingo nights, Ice Cream Socials, Community Cookouts, and more. These are not only important fund raisers but serve as membership drives as the local community is always invited. Set up, decorating, food prep, serving, clean up.... lots of volunteers needed! Convention planning and set-up
During the annual convention season, Republicans meet for the mass precinct meeting in February and the county convention in March. These meetings require prep of paperwork, stuffing envelopes with delegate letters, preparing delegate packets, signage, room set up, manning registration tables, and more.
The FCRP office is currently open most days 9 a.m. – noon. However as the 2020 elections start up, more people power will be needed to answer phone calls and assist walk-ins as office hours are extended. Shifts are 2-3 hours.

We must not destroy our history by taking down monuments.
