In most elections Georgia voters have three weeks before Election Day for early voting in person. These 3 weeks include two Saturdays. Even though a vote is cast in person during this time, all votes cast other than at the precincts on Election Day is considered to be Absentee Voting and will show up at your voter page as such.
Runoffs have a shorter time period for early voting. You can vote at any early voting location in your county.

Georgia's election laws include "no excuse" absentee paper ballot voting and you can request a hand marked absentee ballot for any election, even if you won’t be absent from the county on Election Day. You can request it online or by mail, and when it comes, return it by mail or in a drop box located at the Fayette Elections office. Voters using the Georgia drop boxes may only drop in their own ballot.

Election Day Voting
All voters MUST vote at their own precinct polling location.
The Georgia Presidential Primary will be
Tuesday, March 12, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Whether you're registered as a Republican or Democrat, that will be your designated date.

When to request an absentee ballot?
On Election Day, you must vote at your designated polling place. If you are not sure of your assigned polling location. You can find it on your voter registration card, by clicking here My Voter Page or by contacting the County Board of Registrar’s Office.
Polling places are open on Election Day from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. If you are in line by 7:00 p.m., you are allowed to cast your ballot.
